Congrats to Nur Filiz et al. for their recent publication (December 2020) on the effects of nutrient, temperature and a heat wave on phytoplankton community structure. Mesocosm experiment performed in this study shows that phytoplankton community was predominantly affected by the nutrient level compared to temperature change and heat wave simulation.
